catching up and a giveaway . . .

Bento lunches have not ceased just because I haven't been updating the blog as often. 

We've had some pretty busy weekends so far in this new year and we've been falling back on some tried and true lunches.  So there is only a couple new photos to share, which I'll upload today later.  I also want to work on some new menu items . . . because everyone gets tired of the same old, same old.  More importantly, I need/want to keep the kids excited about their lunches, and toting the bento to school.  To be successful at that we've got to mix it up a bit.

On another note . . . Goodbyn introduced it's new earless bentos with new colors on Facebook recently!!  Yay, mama can finally get her own charcoal Goodbyn!  Well, as soon as they start selling them.

I'm with you, the Charcoal is nice. But so is the Ghoast and Slate!

Thanks for the post, I haven't did a bento search since mid December. I've been dying for one of these but didn't want the one with the ears. I'm glad they finally came out with these. I think all the colors are wonderful but my favs are the ghost and plum colors. I was just saying I needed a new one...I hope I get picked. Thanks for this giveaway.

Oooh, I love the slate; and the plum, too!!

how perfect that they came out with new colors/no ears since I was just making a comment on the island the other day that I wanted to get DH one, but thought they were too juvenile. How awesome.

Lesle, your blog is so great. I have to admit that I steal some of your ideas for DH's lunch. He'd eat whatever I sent with him; but I secretly get satisfaction out of the comments his coworkers get as to "how cool" his lunches are! lol

I think they are awesome had never heard of them until a friend of mine, Stacey mentioned them to me and I started reading about them. GREAT product would love to gt my hands on one esp with a 3.5 year old starting school soon:)

I would LOVE a Goodbyn; my daughter and her friend that I watch during the week (14 months and 9 months, respectively) are now on all table food, which requires quite a bit of packing when we go out. It'd be great to ditch the baggies! I'm also trying to introduce DD's friend's mom to a reusable lifestyle (we CD, etc., but she's all about disposable everything) and I think this would be a great thing to show as an example to her!

I've been carrying around an ad for a Goodbyn in my calendar, attached to a note saying "figure out lunches!!"

Sign me up - I've got a kid who eats lunch in the car (commuting sucks), and he cannot keep a little tupperware from tipping...but a Goodbyn? Looks like just the thing!
